I had caught a glimpse of this product a few weeks back, when someone had bought it in front of me at the local Aldi supermarket. Later, I had been agonizing over whether my brain was playing tricks on me or not. Could there ever be something like "microwaveable sushi"? It sounds quite dangerous...

Now, today I found the product at the very Aldi where I had seen someone buy it before. See proof below. In the name of science, I decided to undertake a self-experiment. I bought it and ate it. Since I'm writing these lines after the consumption of this "sushi" you can gather that I survived, at least for now.

The frontcover of the "product". See right botton corner...

The flipside, ahem, backside of the product.

Here's how it looked before preparation.
Too bad, I thought I had bought some of this plastic sushi
you see in some (cheap) Japanese restaurant's windows.

After microwaving... Yummy!!
